    CELINA, Tenn. (July. 20, 2023) – A monumental feat of engineering and progress stands tall in the heart of the Cumberland River basin. Dale Hollow Dam and Lake, authorized by the Flood Control Act of 1938 and the River and Harbor Act of 1946, emerged to control the floodwaters of the Obey River and contribute to the reduction of flood levels at municipal, industrial, and agricultural areas along the Cumberland, lower Ohio, and Mississippi Rivers.

The road is in need of stabilization due to a roadside slide related to excessive spring rains and soaked terrain.

(May 3, 2019) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District invites the public to a workshop for revision of the Dale Hollow Lake Master Plan from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2019 at the Livingston Community Center in Livingston, Tenn. Corps officials are also available to discuss changes to the Master Plan and to receive public comments during daytime hours June 6 at the Resource Manager’s Office in Celina, Tenn.
