General visits northernmost USACE-run flood control project
Maj. Gen. William Graham, deputy commanding general of civil and emergency operations for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Justin Kerwin, senior park ranger for the Chena River Lakes Flood Control Project, discuss the unique challenges of working in Alaska at the project office on Feb. 19. As a park ranger, Kerwin participates in outreach activities, promotes public safety and encourages compliance with federal regulations.
