  • Benefit St. to close between Eads and Deers Streets

    Work related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control Project (SELA). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District will temporarily close Benefit Street to traffic between Eads Street and Deers Street for work related to the Southeast Louisiana Urban Flood Control project. Weather permitting; Construction closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 17th and last until Friday March 27, 2020. This temporary closure is related to the construction of new box culverts to enhance the drainage in the area. Street closure will not impact regularly scheduled garbage collection.
