    Justin Goo selected as Civil Works Tech Branch Chief

    Justin Goo was recently selected to serve as the Chief, Civil Works Technical Branch, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Honolulu District. Goo has 11 years of experience working for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, having most recently served as a Design Manager/Technical Lead in the Engineering Services Section, Regional Engineering Center, Engineering and Construction Division at Honolulu District.

    19-032 Boise River flows will increase this week

    BOISE, Idaho – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Bureau of Reclamation will continue to increase flows through the City of Boise. Currently, Boise River flows through town are about 1,200 cubic-feet-per-second (cfs) and will increase by 500 cfs throughout today, Tuesday, April 9, 2019, as measured at the Glenwood Bridge gauge. Flows will increase by another 500 cfs daily, on Wednesday, April 10, Thursday, April 11, and Friday, April 12, incrementally reaching approximately 3,200 cfs by late-Friday evening.

Corps officials will also be available at three public events to answer questions and provide information on the dams, master plans and the master planning process.
