  • USACE waives day use fees at recreation areas in observance of Veterans Day

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District announced today that it will waive day use fees at its more than 180 USACE-operated recreation areas within the district in observance of Veterans Day, November 11.
  • Corps hosts Shallow Land Disposal Area Virtual Public Meeting Nov. 12

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh and Buffalo districts’ staff will host a virtual public meeting on Thursday, Nov. 12 and present an update to the public on project status, result of annual environmental monitoring, upcoming site activities, and other issues of public interest of the Shallow Land Disposal Area site.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division announced today that it will waive day use fees at its more than 1,200 USACE-operated recreation areas within the region in observance of Veterans Day, November 11.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will conduct a periodic inspection at its Orwell Dam, located on the Otter Tail River near Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Nov. 4-6.
  • Corps issues small craft advisory for Arkansas River

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District is issuing a small craft advisory for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Arkansas. Rainfall in eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas this week is causing flows on the system to rise.
  • Kansas City District delivers $740 million program for the Heartland

    As the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District wrapped up final contract awards for fiscal year 2020, the team wants to share a summary of a few major accomplishments and how they tie into the district mission and benefit the Heartland region. The district awarded 1575 contracts worth $740.1 million in fiscal year 2020 – ending September 30.
  • Missouri River Water Management virtual public meetings set for Nov. 2

  • Corps makes new changes to camping along Columbia River

    Beginning Nov. 1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close all primitive camping areas for the season at The Dalles and John Day dams. These closures are part of a new camping policy the Corps is implementing this year.
  • Corps to contract for construction of I-29 grade raise for Fargo-Moorhead diversion project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is beginning the contracting process for construction of a raise of I-29, where it crosses the southern embankment of the Fargo, North Dakota/Moorhead, Minnesota, Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Project.
