27th Engineer Battalion visited USACE Charleston District
CHARLESTON, SC — The 27th Engineer Battalion (27th ENB), which is based out of Fort Bragg, NC, is commanded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Charleston District’s former District Deputy, Lt. Col. Michael Ellicott. The 27th ENB spent May 2, 2012 with the Charleston District during a regular 27th ENB’s Leadership Development Program (LDP) session. The 27th ENB’s LDP was put together by their Command and key leaders in the 27th ENB participate in it. The 27th ENB came to the Charleston District to learn more about the District, what we do and how we operate. While with the Charleston District, the 27th ENB’s LDP experienced a wetland delineation from Robert Huff, a biologist with the Charleston District. It is important for the Corps to educate others about wetland delineations and how performing a delineation is important to our environment.
