This open office faces south with horizational exterior sun shades to provide passive sun control. A clearstory above captures northern daylight to maximize consistent daylight throughout the day. The result was a staggering 94% achieved daylghting in this space in accordance with the caluclaiton methods defined by LEED NC 2009.
