    A look back: Nadler's 40 years of service

    Ensley Engineer Yard (EEY) Pipefitter Guy Nadler recently celebrated 40 years of federal service with 20 of them being with the Memphis District. Nadler started his exciting career with the government in 1978 when he joined the U.S. Air Force. He attended Basic Training and Technical School before going into the security police career field in Italy.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District is very pleased to announce that our recreation area campgrounds will be re-opening for visitors, starting June 1, 2020 at five of our projects. Visitors will also be able to begin placing campsite reservations on the Recreation.gov website or smartphone app beginning June 1, 2020.

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, depending on timing of rain, will be conducting a spillway release from Table Rock Dam, at 12 p.m. on May 30.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Albuquerque District announced May 29, 2020, that two USACE-managed lakes in New Mexico (Conchas and Santa Rosa lakes) have begun a phased reopening, and the boat ramp at Abiquiu Lake will be open as of May 30.
  • Corps seeks federal authorization for port expansion project in Nome

    Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite, commanding general of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and 54th U.S. Army Chief of Engineers, approved the recommended plan for navigation improvements at the Port of Nome during a signing event today in Washington, D.C.
  • Ohae campgrounds opening Monday

    Campgrounds operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Oahe, South Dakota, project will open Monday. This will include the Beaver Creek and Hazelton Campgrounds in North Dakota.
