    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District released its Fiscal Year 2021 Work Plan for the Army Civil Works program, Jan. 19.
  • Crooked Creek Lake seeks public input on master plan updates

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is seeking public feedback regarding proposed changes to the Crooked Creek Lake Master Plan based on public input collected in November 2019. The master plan update will affect the future management and use of natural resources and recreational activities at the lake for the next 25 years.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District is hosting a virtual public meeting to kick off the Youghiogheny River Lake Master Plan revision. The corps is seeking public input about environmental and recreational subjects to consider during the master plan revision process.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is hosting a virtual meeting about the Tygart Lake Master and Shoreline Management Plans updates. The corps is seeking public feedback on the proposed changes to the management of the lake based on public input collected in August 2018.
  • Corps of Engineers seeks comment on plan to restore aquatic habitat in Prince George’s County

    The Baltimore District, in cooperation with Prince George’s County Department of the Environment, is seeking comments for a 30-day period, beginning June 1, 2016, on a plan to restore aquatic habitat in previously-degraded streams along six sites in the Anacostia Watershed in Prince George’s County. The combined restoration will restore approximately 7 miles of in-stream habitat, 4 miles of fish passage on the Northwest Branch, and connect 14 miles of previously-restored habitat from other restoration projects.
