    LAWRENCE, Kan. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting for the Clinton Lake Master Plan on Tuesday, Mar. 27, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The meeting will be an open format hosted at the Clinton Lake Visitor Center located at 872 N. 1402 Road, Lawrence, KS 66049.

    LAWRENCE, Kan. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake will host a special Youth Turkey Hunt October 16 through October 22, 2017. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2017.
  • Special Permit Archery Hunt Scheduled at Clinton Lake

    LAWRENCE, Kan.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake announce the opening of the application process for the annual Special Archery Hunt at Bloomington and Rockhaven parks. Applicants will be randomly chosen and allowed to hunt in assigned, designated areas from Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District at Clinton and Perry Lakes will host a combined open house to review seasonal plans for lake elevations May 25 from 1-3 p.m. at the Clinton Lake project office located at 872 North 1402 Road, Lawrence, Kansas.
  • Eagles Day scheduled for Clinton Lake

    LAWRENCE, Kan.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake, the Jayhawk Audubon Society and other local organizations will host the 20th annual Kaw Valley Eagles Day on Saturday, January 23, at the Lawrence Free State High School. The popular family event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free of charge. It will include nature exhibits and hands-on activities. Presentations throughout the day will provide information on nesting bald eagles in Kansas and a live bald eagle will be present.
  • Annual Clinton Lake cleanup planned

    LAWRENCE, Kan.,— The Clinton Lake Cleanup Committee, in conjunction with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and the Clinton Marina, would like to invite all interested groups and individuals to participate in the 31st Annual Clinton Lake Cleanup. This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m., at Shelter #1 in the Overlook Park located at the north end of Clinton Dam.

    LAWRENCE, Kan., – The Kansas City District Corps of Engineers at Clinton Lake, the Jayhawk Audubon Society, and USD 497 would like to invite the public to attend the 19th Annual Kaw Valley Eagles Day. The event is free of charge and will take place on Jan. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Lawrence Free State High School.
  • Zebra Mussels Found in Clinton Reservoir

    TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT) has confirmed the presence of zebra mussels in Clinton Reservoir in Douglas County. An adult population was discovered by KDWPT fisheries staff during routine fish sampling activities, and a subsequent survey of other locations around the lake indicated the population was widespread. Twenty-two Kansas lakes have now been confirmed to have zebra mussels. Other reservoirs in northeast Kansas with zebra mussel infestations include Milford, Perry, John Redmond and Melvern.
