Corps waives day use fees Nov. 11 for veterans and their families
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- To commemorate Veterans Day the Little Rock District of the Army Corps of Engineers will join Corps districts nationwide and waive day use fees at its recreation areas Nov. 11 for veterans, active, reserve and guard service members and their families.

Cordell Hull employees receive Nashville District’s Hedgehog Award

CORPS RESUMES RECREATIONAL LOCKAGE RESTRICTIONS ON ARKANSAS RIVER
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Beginning today all locks on the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System will again be closed to recreational boaters from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays.

REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR TABLE ROCK POWERHOUSE REQUIRES LOWERING LAKE TANEYCOMO
BRANSON, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will repair the Table Rock Powerhouse water release system Nov. 4 requiring Lake Taneycomo to be lowered to elevation 696.5. Dock owners should monitor lake levels and adjust boat docks as the lake is lowered and returned to its normal pool elevation.

CORPS REOPENING CAMPGROUNDS, DAY-USE AREAS, AND BOAT LAUNCH RAMPS
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Beginning today the Little Rock District, Corps of Engineers is reopening Corps-operated campgrounds, day-use areas and boat launch ramps that are normally open this time of year.
