NR 18-001: Cheatham Lake shoreline management plan workshop cancelled

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 22, 2018) – Due to the ongoing government shutdown, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is cancelling a public workshop to update the Cheatham Lake Shoreline Management Plan previously scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn. This workshop will be rescheduled at the conclusion of the shutdown.

Shoreline Management Plan finalized for Pomme de Terre Lake

HERMITAGE, Mo.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District has finalized the Pomme de Terre Lake Shoreline Management Plan. "With input from local residents, we were able to hear their concerns and sought ways to incorporate their thoughts into our management plan," said Brian Wright, operations project manager for Pomme de Terre Lake. "In doing this, we strive to strike a balance between public and private shoreline use."

Workshops to offer information on Hartwell Lake’s proposed shoreline management, take suggestions from the public

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The public can offer opinions and gain information on the proposed new shoreline management plan for Hartwell Lake during three upcoming workshops sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District. TABLE ROCK SHORELINE MANAGEMENT PLAN REVISION REQUIRES TEMPORARY HALT TO SHORELINE MANAGEMENT REQUESTS

BRANSON, Mo. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Table Rock Project Office will temporarily suspend shoreline activity requests beginning Feb. 1, 2015 to establish a baseline number of permits and docks on the lake for officials to use while revising its 19-year-old shoreline management plan. New requests must be received or postmarked by Jan. 31, 2015.
