• Chittenden Locks to close July 25 for salmon exclusion structure inspection

    SEATTLE – The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks in Ballard will close to all marine traffic 7:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., July 25 allowing U.S. Navy divers to re-inspect the Adult Salmon Exclusion Structure.

Robert Peterson transferred command of the District to Col. Steven McGugan. The ceremony was presided over by Brig. Gen. Margaret Burcham, Commanding General of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
