    MKARNS - Due to shallow pool conditions and until further notice, mariners are advised to use caution from NM 143.0 through NM 254.8. No passing is advised while transiting through these locations. This information is based on a preliminary reconnaissance survey, and conditions may change as water flow rates reduce. Recent high water flows have also resulted in numerous buoys no longer in their original locations.

    PIEDMONT, Mo. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Clearwater Lake staff is proud to announce that applications are available for our annual Wounded Warrior deer hunt, Oct. 17 through Oct. 18, as well as our annual mobility impaired deer hunt for non-ambulatory hunters, Oct. 24 through Oct. 25. Both hunts will take place within Clearwater Lake’s Watchable Wildlife Area.

    PHILADELPHIA (July 24, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) released a draft report for a flood risk management feasibility study and are accepting public comments on the proposal. USACE and NJDEP will host a public workshop on July 29 from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Lambertville Justice Center at 25 S. Union Street to discuss the recommended plan detailed in the report.

  • Carlyle Lake Update and Weekend Activities

    CARLYLE LAKE - As of 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday July 21, 2015, the pool elevation at Carlyle Lake was 452.72 feet, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD), with a release rate of approximately 5,440 cubic feet of water per second (cfs). The inflow for Monday July 20, 2015 was approximately 2,050 day second feet (dsf). The lake crested at 454.39 feet NGVD on July 5, 2015. The targeted summer pool is 445.0 feet NGVD. Carlyle Lake is currently working as designed to lessen flooding on downstream sections of the Kaskaskia and Mississippi Rivers.
