VICKSBURG, Miss. - The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) entered a new Partnership Intermediary Agreement with DEFENSEWERX, a non-profit 501c3 organization, to establish an innovation hub called ERDCWERX in Vicksburg, Mississippi. ERDCWERX is a force multiplier that leverages technology outreach, creates new collaboration channels, and accelerates product transition to the global market that directly benefits our military and the commercial sector. ERDCWERX will also increase small business participation and effectively facilitate novel innovation, collaboration and workforce development principals and tools.

Halloween Spooktacular with Bobber

This year’s Halloween Spooktacular with Bobber was held at the Burnsville Lake Riffle Run Campground. Participants enjoyed learning about water safety. Additionally, they made and took home a canvas painting of Bobberto remind them to be safe during Halloween. Bobber the water safety dog promoted checking your candy just like you check your life jacket!Campers and community members participated in a scavenger hunt in which kids got to learn about the Riffle Run Campground and our staff.
