• HIGHWAY 165 BRIDGE ACROSS TABLE ROCK DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE

    BRANSON, Mo. – The Corps of Engineers will close both lanes of Highway 165 across Table Rock Dam from 8 p.m. June 1 until 6 a.m. June 2 and again from 8 p.m. June 2 until 6 a.m. June 3 to install equipment needed to reinstall the dam’s refurbished head gates, barring weather delays.

  • Corps of Engineers Truman Lake park facilities impacted by recent rains

    Rains over the last 24 hours have the Harry S. Truman Lake elevation on the rise once again. This afternoon, the elevation is 726.38’ mean sea level; the lake is expected to increase to 730’ msl by Friday this week, and to crest mid-week next week at 732.22 (with no additional rain). A number of Truman Lake parks are closed or partially closed due to flooding. Increased surveillance of the dam, which began at elevation 725.6’ msl, continues at this time. Releases from Truman Dam ceased this morning due to flood conditions on the Missouri River.

    A draft environmental assessment for the proposed installation of a wastewater discharge pipe at the Cargill plant in Blair is currently available for public review. Cargill, Inc., is proposing to install approximately 600 feet of new polyethylene wastewater discharge pipe (not to exceed 48-inch capacity) adjoining an existing discharge pipe that outlets into the Missouri River. Comments must be postmarked or received no later than June 21, 2019.
