Lieutenant General William H. “Butch” Graham Jr. assumed duties as the 56th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General, United States Army Corps of Engineers on September 13, 2024, after most recently serving as the Corps’ Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations.  As the Chief of Engineers, an Army Staff Principal, he is responsible for more than 90,000 military engineers and advises the Secretary of the Army and other Principal Officials on matters related to general, combat and geospatial engineering as well as construction, real property, public infrastructure and natural resources science and management. As the USACE Commanding General, he is responsible for nearly 36,000 civilian employees and 800 military personnel who deliver a massive $68B portfolio including construction support, project management, science and engineering expertise in more than 110 countries.

Major General Jason E. Kelly assumed duties as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Deputy Commanding General for Civil and Emergency Operations on September 9, 2024 after most recently serving as the 53rd Commanding General of the U.S. Army Training Center and Fort Jackson, the U.S. Army's main production center for Basic Combat Training. The installation trains roughly 50 percent of all Soldiers and more than 60 percent of women entering the Army each year. In addition to basic combat training, more than 24,000 Soldiers graduate each year from other Fort Jackson schools and courses, such as the Drill Sergeant Academy, U.S. Army Institute of Religious Leadership, the Adjutant General School, Finance School, and Noncommissioned Officer Academy. Colonel Damon A. Delarosa was assigned to the position of the Chief of Staff of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Headquarters on July 1, 2024, after most recently serving as the 29th commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District. Commissioned as an Army Engineer Officer following graduation from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1998, Delarosa has served in a variety of command and staff positions at the platoon, company, battalion, and brigade levels, as well as joint positions, both at home and abroad. His last assignment was as commander of the Alaska District with responsibility for providing the full range of services to state of Alaska, as well as humanitarian assistance projects throughout Southeast Asia in support of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.
