    USACE awards contract for historic Arlington Nation Cemetery Memorial Amphitheater cleaning, repointing

    In preparation for the 100th anniversary of the dedication of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, 11 November 2021, The Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a more than $6.3 million contract to clean, repoint, and provide universal access to the exterior of Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) Memorial Amphitheater.

    Bellwood Manor House set for $3.28M renovation

    NORFOLK, Va. – The historic Bellwood Manor House at Defense Supply Center Richmond is getting a face-lift. Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a $3.28 million contract to Facility Support Services for renovation of the house, which was built between 1790 and 1804 and is listed as a national and state landmark.

    Fiscal triad delivers for the Tyndall Rebuild

    The final months of FY19 were rewarding for Tyndall Air Force Base as they received the June 2019 Supplemental Appropriations for Disaster Relief Act to increase their annual operations and maintenance budget by a massive 450 percent. Under the act, O&M funding assigned $56 million to sustain regular base operations with an additional $358.4 million allotted for Hurricane Michael recovery under the facility sustainment restoration modernization designation.
