This event is open to all large and small businesses interested in working with the Galveston District. The conference will include presentations from USACE staff and an open session for participants to ask District staff questions.

    New Orleans – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, in partnership with the U.S. Navy Supervisor of Salvage and Diving, will install temporary pumps at the London Avenue Permanent Canal Closure and Pumps (PCCP) as a precautionary measure for delivering sufficient pumping capacity during a tropical weather event. Site preparation and installation of crane mats could begin as early as Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

    Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials at Canyon Lake will temporarily close the dam service road for embankment maintenance April 24 through 27. The Overlook Park Road will be open for public enjoyment, but the dam service road is expected to be closed for four days to allow a contractor to stage equipment and perform maintenance.
