    Corps of Engineers announces start of drawdown for Homme Lake in northeast North Dakota

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will start the late winter drawdown of Homme Lake, west of Park River, N.D., on Wednesday, March 26.

    CORPS REMINDS VISITORS OF LICK CREEK PARK PARTIAL CLOSURE

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District reminds visitors that because of budget constraints only the boat launch ramp and parking lot at Lick Creek Park, on Blue Mountain Lake, will remain open this year. The campgrounds, bathrooms and group shelter will no longer be available for use.

    Table Rock Lake Recreation Areas Open for Camping

    BRANSON, Mo. - The Army Corps of Engineers opens six of its recreation areas April 1 for camping on Table Rock Lake. These parks include: Campbell Point, Cape Fair, Cricket Creek, Mill Creek, Old Highway 86, and Indian Point.

    WORK ON BULL SHOALS DAM TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE ONE LANE OF ARKANSAS HIGHWAY 178 BRIDGE

    Mountain Home, Ark. – Upcoming maintenance on Bull Shoals Dam requires one lane of the Arkansas Highway 178 bridge across the dam to close beginning at 6:30 a.m. April 1 until 5 p.m. Aug. 15.

    The Rivers Project Natural Resource Management Master Plan

    The Rivers Project Master Plan is the required U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approval document that guides public use and natural resource management on the Project’s 48,792 acres of Federal public lands and 106,208 acres of Project waters for environmental stewardship and recreation related purposes. The Project area for the Master Plan extends from Mississippi River Mile 0, at Cairo, Illinois; upstream to the tail water of Locks and Dam 22, Mississippi River Mile 301, at Saverton, Missouri. The majority of the Project’s public lands are upstream of St. Louis, Missouri. The lower 80 miles of the Illinois River, is also managed by Rivers Project and is included in the plan.
