    Navigational dredging within Oceanside Harbor continued this week with the contractor, CJW Construction, reporting having removed approximately 29,613 cubic yards of material from the harbor’s entrance channels from Oct. 20 through 26.

    The Missouri River Recovery Implementation Committee (MRRIC) will hold its 35th meeting here Nov. 15-17, 2016. The meetings are open to the public; members of the public will have an opportunity during each daily session to address the committee and the lead federal agencies – the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) – regarding the Missouri River Recovery Program (MRRP).

The main navigation channel is scheduled to be closed from 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. The safety zone previously established by the U.S. Coast Guard remains in effect from NM 118.6 to NM 119.6.
