    Table Rock Lake Parks Open and Dewey Short Visitor Center Announces April Programs

    BRANSON, Mo. - The Army Corps of Engineers opened six of its recreation areas on Table Rock Lake April 1. These parks included Campbell Point, Cape Fair, Cricket Creek, Mill Creek, Old Highway 86, and Indian Point. Aunts Creek, Baxter, Big M, Eagle Rock, and Viola parks will open May 1. Moonshine Beach, which is a day-use only area, will open May 15.

    Carlyle Lake Update

    CARLYLE LAKE - As of 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018 the pool elevation at Carlyle Lake was 451.41 feet, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD). The current release rate is approximately 5,560 cubic feet per second (cfs). The inflow for Sunday, April 1, 2018 was approximately 14,260 day second feet (dsf). With current precipitation on the ground, Carlyle Lake is forecasted to crest at less than 451.0 feet NGVD on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Carlyle Lake Dam is operating as designed, helping reduce flood stages on the Lower Kaskaskia and Mississippi Rivers.
