During a virtual ceremony hosted in Washington, D.C., the Omaha District received several awards for executing its largest small business program ever at $595 million during fiscal year 2020.

ACT Feasibility Report Comment Period Extended to January 25th

In response to requests received by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District (USACE), the Mobile District granted an extension to the public comment period on the Final Feasibility Report and Integrated Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FR/SEIS) for the Allatoona Lake Water Supply Storage Reallocation Study and Updates to Weiss and Logan Martin Reservoirs Project Water Control Manuals. The comment period for the FR/SEIS is extended until January 25, 2021. The 14-day extension provides additional time for public review and analyses of the final report.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers & City of De Soto to hold virtual public meeting for the De Soto, Missouri, Emergency Action and Evacuation Plan Final Results

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District, Flood Plain Management Services Program will host a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. to present the final results of the Emergency Action and Evacuation Plan for the City of De Soto, Mo., in Jefferson County. Due to public health and safety concerns associated with the current COVID-19 pandemic, the public meeting will be held online.

USACE plans prescribed burns around Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes
