The Mobile District Regional Sediment Management Team and the Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) from Vicksburg, Mississippi kicked off a study on January 13, 2019 at North Blakeley Island in Mobile, Ala.
The purpose of the study is to see if sediment currently stored on North Blakeley Island could be used to strengthen the marshes around Blakeley Island
