    A draft environmental assessment for repairs to Missouri River levee unit L-550 near Langdon in Atchison County, Missouri is currently available for public review. The draft EA evaluates the environmental impacts of repairing damage along a drainage ditch between L-550 and Rock Creek caused by high precipitation events. Repairs are needed to prevent seepage of levee foundation material from L-550 into the drainage ditch. Comments must be postmarked or received no later than October 27, 2016.

    A draft environmental assessment for Public Law 84-99 levee rehabilitation construction at the Main Ditch 6 levee near Hamburg, Iowa is currently available for public review. Rehabilitation construction will consist of in-line repairs to bring the levee back to pre-flood conditions.
