    PITTSBURGH -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Pittsburgh is alerting Loyalhanna Lake visitors that a Sunoco pipeline contractor, drilling adjacent to Corps property, has reported three releases of bentonite slurry this week near Loyalhanna Lake.

  • East Branch Boaters: Launch Ramp Expected to Close

    The East Branch Dam boat launch ramp will close August 15 due to falling lake levels. The ramp will be closed to trailered vessels, however the lake will remain open to hand-carried boats such as kayaks and canoes.
