  • Eagle Day planned at Milford Nature Center

    JUNCTION CITY, Kan.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Milford Lake and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism will host the annual Eagle Day event Saturday, January 16, at the Milford Nature Center in Junction City, Kansas. The Nature Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with several free activities including live eagle programs, kid’s crafts and bus rides to eagle viewing stations around Milford Lake.

    The Public Health Advisory previously issued for Milford Lake by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, has been lifted
  • Public health advisory for Milford Lake

    Areas north of School Creek at Milford Lake have been placed under an advisory after testing was conducted for cyanobacteria by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. NOTE: Areas south of School Creek are not currently under an Advisory or Warning and are open to water-based recreational use.
  • More water to be released from three Kansas reservoirs

    Releases from Milford, Tuttle Creek and Perry reservoirs in the Kansas River Basin have been providing supplemental Navigation Support to the Missouri River since July 8 and will continue to do so through approximately August 7.
