Nashville District opening campgrounds, recreation areas in June

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 14, 2020) – As part of a phased approach for reopening facilities as part of its COVID-19 reopening plan, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is opening its corps-managed campgrounds within the Cumberland River Basin in Tennessee June 1, 2020.

Protecting recreating public, government personnel driving force behind closures due to COVID-19

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 20, 2020) -- As America confronts the challenges of COVID-19, protecting the health and safety of the recreating public, volunteers and our government personnel is our highest priority. Park Rangers promote water safety at Nashville Boat Show

NR 17-043: Martins Fork Dam, fishing pier area closing for debris removal

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 26, 2017) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Martins Fork Dam and fishing pier area are closing Jan. 8, 2018 for approximately 30 days while crews work to remove accumulated debris from the stilling basin. A structural inspection is also being performed during the closure.
