Check in for the tours will be at the Shell Mound Campground about a half mile from the lock.

The lock will be accessible to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 26 until Sept. 8, 2017.

    ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (May 24, 2017) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is offering public access to Cheatham Navigation Lock, located at Cumberland River mile 148.7. The lock viewing area is open to visitors seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from May 26 until Sept. 8, 2017.
