2025 PRESIDENTS BUDGET DESIGNATES $54.88 MILLION FOR CHICAGO DISTRICT PROJECTS

The Chicago District is celebrating continued support in the release of the President’s Budget for fiscal year 2025 which includes more than $7.2 billion in discretionary funding for the Civil Works program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, including $3 billion for commercial navigation, $1.6 billion for flood and storm damage reduction, and $1.2 billion for aquatic ecosystem restoration. The Chicago District will see around $ million marked for projects within its area of responsibility.
