Recreational use associated with the Rock Quarry Area will be accessible by foot traffic only. The rock beach in this area is open to vehicles at this time.

    HERMITAGE, Mo.— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Pomme de Terre Lake will host a Shoreline Management Plan scoping meeting Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Pomme de Terre Project Office. The Shoreline Management Plan for Pomme de Terre Lake establishes policy and furnished guidelines for the protection and preservation of the desirable environmental characteristics of the shoreline while maintaining a balance between public and private shoreline use.

  • Command Sergeant Major tours Sacramento District

    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Command Sergeant Major Antoio S. Jones visited the Sacramento District for the first time August 16-17. Jones’ itinerary included visits to two district-operated reservoirs, Black Butte Lake and Englebright Lake as well as the Folsom Dam Auxiliary Spillway project. j
