    GALVESTON, Texas (May 10, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District and the Calhoun Port Authority will host a meeting regarding the status of the Matagorda Ship Channel feasibility study on May 15, 2018, from 6–8 p.m. at the Bauer Exhibit Building, Henry Barber Way, County Road, Port Lavaca, TX 77979 to inform the public about the ongoing feasibility study activities for the Matagorda Ship Channel feasibility study and solicit public input regarding the study.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas Army Ammunition Plant will host a Restoration Advisory Board meeting for local community members on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Labette Community College, H Building, Room H211 located on 13th Street, Parsons, Kan., from 6 to 7 p.m. The public can speak to representatives from the U.S. Army, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment regarding on-going remediation efforts to enhance and foster relationships in the community. The workshop is rescheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at the Ashland City Elementary School Library in Ashland City, Tenn.
