Instead of fans wearing jerseys cheering on the hometown team, potential candidates from throughout the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex carrying resumes entered the upper concourse of the stadium. They were looking for possible careers with more than 40 Army organizations including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Southwestern Division. The division had representatives on hand from Fort Worth, Galveston, Little Rock, and Tulsa Districts.

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, has closed the bridge at the Northwest Day Use Area at the Eau Galle Recreation Area in Spring Valley, Wisconsin, to all vehicle, pedestrian and equestrian traffic due to the deteriorated conditions of the bridge.
  • Corps hosts open house on McGregor Lake restoration project

    ST. PAUL, Minn. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is hosting an open house to discuss the McGregor Lake habitat rehabilitation and enhancement project, April 22 at Prairie du Chien public library from 5-7 p.m. The public is welcome to drop in to learn more and meet with staff. There will be no formal presentation. The library is located at 125 S Wacouta Ave., Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
  • USACE and Pulaski County to close Big Dam Bridge for inspection

    The U.S. Army Corps of engineers postponed the previous Big Dam Bridge closure and inspection because of mechanical issues. The equipment has been repaired and the closure rescheduled. The Big Dam Bridge, across Murray Lock and Dam, will now be closed to all traffic from 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. April 16-19 for a routine bridge inspection.
