Nine high-school graduates were recognized by the ERDC Alumni Association for their dedication, academic excellence and a promising future in their respective fields of study.

Today, Team 456 Siege Robotics is a FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team that is made up of about eighteen students from across central Mississippi.

    Taylor Brown, a student trainee with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District, discovered career opportunities early on in construction engineering as the daughter of an electrician. Additionally, several members of her family on her mother’s side also work in construction, she said, which piqued her interest in the field.

The U.S. Army’s theme for Earth Day this year is “A Partnership for the Planet.”
