    POMEROY, Wash. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District (Corps) is revising the Master Plan (MP) for the Lower Granite Project. Public scoping for this effort will take place from March 22 through April 22 2017. The Corps invites comments from the public regarding management of natural resources and recreational opportunities that should be considered for the Lower Granite Master Plan. Public comments received during this process will be considered during development of the draft MP. The Corps will also prepare an Environmental Assessment (EA) to address potential effects associated with MP revision. The Corps will consider all comments received.
  • Corps to host public meeting for the Whitney Lake Master Plan revision

    FORT WORTH, Texas – The Fort Worth District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public meeting Tuesday, June 7 at 6 p.m. to receive public input as it prepares to update and revise the Whitney Lake Master Plan. The public meeting will be held at the Whitney Independent School District Auditorium, 305 San Jacinto, Whitney, TX 76692 and is open to the public. A formal presentation will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by time for attendees to view maps, ask questions and provide comments about the project.
  • CORPS ANNOUNCES OPEN HOUSES FOR MASTER PLAN REVISIONS

    ROGERS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District will hold three public open houses March 10-12 in Fayetteville, Rogers and Eureka Springs to discuss the master plan update process and seek input from the public on the draft Beaver Lake Master Plan. All interested persons are invited.

    ROGERS, Ark. -- The Army Corps of Engineers’ Beaver Project Office will temporarily suspend shoreline activity requests for Beaver Lake beginning Feb. 1, 2015 until spring 2016 to establish a baseline of the lake for officials to use while revising its 38-year-old master plan. New requests must be received or postmarked by Jan. 31, 2015.
