Aging Robert S. Kerr Hydraulic Pipes Removed

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District replaced rusted galvanized steel pipes with new stainless steel pipes that are expected to last much longer than the original 1960s pipes in the same environment.

Army Corps of Engineers transfers land in Texas

In a ceremony held at Lake Texoma recently, a commemorative document celebrating the transfer of 600 acres of Lake Texoma shoreline to the City of Denison, TX ., was signed by Congressman Ralph Hall Texas 4th District, Jared Johnson, Mayor, City of Denison, Brig. Gen. Thomas Kula and Developer George Schuler.

Operation War Fighter in Tulsa District

The Tulsa District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in partnership with the U.S. Army Community Based Warrior Transition Unit at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, participate in a program that allows returning Soldiers that are in some way wounded to return home while they continue their medical care. During their recovery, the Operation War Fighter Program allows the soldier to work at a sponsoring Federal Agency such as the Tulsa District.

A group of twelve Tulsa District emerging leaders completed a yearlong Leadership Development Program culminating in a graduation ceremony to commemorate their achievement.
