  • President's Fiscal 2015 Budget for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Civil Works released

    The President’s Budget for fiscal year 2015 includes $4.561 billion in gross discretionary funding for the Civil Works program of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, which is offset in part by a proposal to cancel $28 million in unobligated carryover of funding appropriated prior to fiscal year 2014. The budget includes projects in the Seattle District including operation of the six dams in the district, Green Duwamish ecosystem restoration construction, the Skagit River and Puyallup River flood reduction studies, Skokomish River ecosystem restoration study, and the Seattle Harbor deepening study.
