NAD has over 3,000 civilian employees and service members who manage projects in the following mission areas: civil works, military construction, international, inter-agency, environmental, regulatory and real estate. The division also responds to natural and man-made disasters in the northeast United States support of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)'s Regions I, II, and III, or elsewhere in support of FEMA and other Corps of Engineer divisions.
