  • Center’s OMEE contract keeps Walter Reed running

    The Operation and Maintenance Engineering Enhancement (OMEE) Program at the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, provides a simplified process to respond to the growing operation and maintenance needs of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center using streamlined processes that delivers low-cost, quick- response contracts for the operation, preventive maintenance, and repair and replacement of equipment for the sprawling campus.
  • Fourth generation Medical Division Architectural-Engineering services contract awarded

    This fourth-generation award supports the Defense Health Agency, its subordinate medical services (U.S. Army Medical Command, U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine, and the Air Force Medical Support Agency), and other non-Department of Defense customers by providing full-service specialized medical facility architecture, engineering, and planning services to support the medical Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization program.
  • Army surgeon general recognizes Huntsville Center medical division

    Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, who assumed command of the U.S. Army Medical Command in June, praised the team for ensuring Army Medicine provides safe, evidence-based environments of care for the Army’s top priority – its people.
  • Medical Division employees receive kudos from customer

    Two employees with the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Medical Division received certificates of achievement from the director of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for support provided in fiscal year 2014 during a town hall Jan. 23. Huntsville Center commander Col. Robert Ruch presented Mark Batchelor and Lt. Cmdr. Brandon Groh with the certificates signed by Brig. Gen. Jeffrey B. Clark.
