  • Hartwell Lake day-use fees must be paid by credit, debit card at automated fee stations

    SAVANNAH, Ga. – Now that warm weather is here, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, at Hartwell Lake and Dam Project Office would like to remind park visitors to bring a debit or credit card to pay for the use of a boat ramp and/or visits to day-use parks, as cash isn’t accepted at the automated fee stations.
  • USACE to implement $5 general day use fee beginning January 1st

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District will begin charging a $5 fee for general day use at Abiquiu Lake, N.M., beginning Jan. 1, 2024.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is waiving day use fees at more than 2,850 USACE-operated recreation areas nationwide, including at Sacramento District’s 10 lake and river projects, in observance of the USACE birthday on June 16 and Juneteenth National Independence Day on June 19.

    BRANSON, Mo. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has transitioned to automated day use fee collection at Old Hwy 86 and Moonshine Beach recreation areas on Table Rock Lake.
  • Day Use Fees Collected at Sutton Lake

    HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Day Use Fees are being collected at Sutton Lake in Sutton, WV. The boat launch fee amount will remain the same as in the past, however, beach users will need to pay the day use fee as well beginning May 2022. Only credit card payments will be accepted at that time - no cash will be collected or accepted
  • Corps to resume collection of recreation fees at Coralville Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will resume collection of recreational day use fees for boat ramps at Coralville Lake beginning April 1. Launching fees are $5 per day, per vehicle and can be paid with a credit or debit card via the self-serve machines at each boat ramp location. No cash or coins will be accepted at Mehaffey and West Overlook. Sandy Beach boat ramp will continue to be free of charge.
  • Corps to resume collection of recreation fees at Saylorville Lake

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, will resume collection of recreational day use fees for boat ramps at Saylorville Lake beginning April 1. Launching fees are $5 per day, per vehicle and can be paid with a credit or debit card via the self-serve machines at each boat ramp location. No cash or coins will be accepted at Cherry Glen, Sandpiper and Lakeview Main boat ramps. Lakeview Highwater boat ramp remains a cash or check only ramp with envelopes provided at the dropbox.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 1, 2020) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that it will resume the collection of fees at its day use recreation areas beginning Oct. 8. Fee collections were suspended earlier this year when recreation areas were closed due to COVID-19 precautions.
  • USACE Vicksburg District resumes collection of recreation area fees

    VICKSBURG, Miss. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District will resume the collection of fees at its recreation sites’ day use areas beginning Oct. 1. Fee collections were suspended earlier this year when recreation areas were closed due to COVID-19 precautions. The USACE Vicksburg District has collected camping fees through online reservations at www.recreation.gov and will continue this system across its projects in Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana.
  • Kansas City District waiving collection of day use fees for October & November

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, announced today that it will waive the collection of fees at its day use recreation areas for the months of October and November. Fee collections were suspended earlier this year at boat ramps and swimming beaches when recreation areas were closed due to COVID-19 precautions. USACE plans to resume its day use fees in the spring of 2021.
