  • Warning Horn Below Table Rock Dam Not Operational

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers advises all individuals downstream of Table Rock Dam that the warning horn, which typically signals changes in water levels, is not operational. While the horn at the dam continues to function and will sound before any water level changes, those farther downstream may not hear it.

  • USACE announces seasonal closure of the Dewey Short Visitor Center at Table Rock Lake

    The Dewey Short Visitor Center will close for the season Dec.1 and will reopen March 1, 2023. The surrounding grounds, picnic facility and the 2.2- mile Lakeshore Trail to State Park Marina will remain open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    The Dewey Short Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning May 15. Masks and social distancing are required per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and commonly touched surfaces will be routinely sanitized throughout the day by park staff.

    One lane of the Highway 165 bridge across Table Rock Dam and auxiliary spillway will now be closed for a routine bridge inspection from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 instead of Oct. 8.
  • Bull Shoals Master Plan revision is underway

    The Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District continues to seek public input through Sept. 30 about the Bull Shoals Lake Master Plan revision. Comments can be submitted via email, fax or regular mail. Mailed comments must be post marked no later than Sept. 30. All public comments will be included in the master plan scoping report.
