Project offices outside of the District office in Omaha, Neb. help to support this large area of responsibility. Omaha District’s Real Estate division has a dedicated team placed at the Garrison Project Office in Riverdale, N.D. This Riverdale Real Estate Office also works with additional staff members at its two satellite offices in Fort Peck, Mont. and Bismarck, N.D.

  • Louisville District highlights engineering teammates during National Engineers Week 2022

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been engineering solutions for our nation’s toughest challenges for 246 years. Engineers create new possibilities all the time and the engineers at USACE are no different. During National Engineers Week, Feb. 21 to 25, engineers are recognized for their notable contributions to society.  To celebrate, the Louisville District is highlighting team members from different engineering disciplines. Each engineer focuses on a different facet of engineering. While some engineers focus on things like remediation and construction, others spend their time negotiating contracts and designs. Other civil engineers deal with the financial side of engineering and more.  As the nation’s engineering and public works agency, USACE deliver’s quality projects and programs, on time and within budget, safely for the American people, and these engineers help make USACE a strong organization. 

  • USACE Vicksburg District’s Holly Porter named 2021 Program Manager of the Year

    Success comes in many forms, and many attribute their personal success to those who have helped them achieve it. Holly Porter, Project Manager with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District, credits her success to those who helped pave the way for her. Porter was recently named the 2021 USACE Program Manager of the Year. This national recognition highlighted the work Holly has done and the strides she has made throughout the region.

  • 20-058 Corps of Engineers deploys Advance Measures Technical Assistance Team to Idaho for Post-Wildfire Analysis

    Walla Walla, Wash. – From Nov. 11 to 15, The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Walla Walla District, at the request of the State of Idaho, deployed a four person Advance Measures Technical Assistance Team to the site of two wildfires to assist in post-burn analysis.

  • Kansas City District delivers over $1 billion in project awards for Fiscal Year ‘19 benefitting the Heartland region

    As the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District wrapped up final contract awards for fiscal year 2019, the team took a moment to reflect on a few major accomplishments and how they tie into the district mission and benefit the Heartland region. The district awarded 1,501 contracts worth $1.028 billion in fiscal year 2019.
