  • Cadets visit Nashville for engineering, construction, operations insight

    NASHVILLE Tenn. (Aug. 9, 2024) -- People come visit Nashville from all over. They come for any number of reasons, to see a sports game, to celebrate an event or even to hear some country music. But in the case of four engineering cadets with the Reserve Officers' Training Corps, they are in Nashville to see the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District and to get insight of engineering, construction, and operations missions the district supports in the Cumberland River and Tennessee River basins and an area of operations encompassing parts of seven states.

    JAMESTOWN, Ky. (Feb. 22, 2016) – A determined group of Army Junior ROTC cadets from Pulaski County High School and Southwestern High School planted 4,000 seedlings as part of a once-in-a-lifetime environmental restoration opportunity at a disposal area near Wolf Creek Dam today.

  • Army Corps improves patient care at West Point hospital

    Today the Keller Army Community Hospital continues to carry on Dr. William Lordan Keller's commitment to patient care. To help it do this they called upon the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District to construct an addition to the hospital that will provide needed outpatient medical services for its Cadets. "The new addition will provide the patient beneficiaries with world class healthcare. West Point will have a hospital environment comparable to the very best private sector facilities," said Program Manager Maj. Christopher Kiss, U.S. Army Health Facility Planning Agency.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District is constructing a new science center for the cadets at the academy that is maintaining the look of the historic 200-year old campus and taking their science education well into the 21st Century.
