    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District announces that the Downstream, East Totten Trail, and Wolf Creek campgrounds on Lake Sakakawea and Lake Audubon in North Dakota are scheduled to open May 14, and that online reservations are now being accepted.

Bennett Johnston Waterway and the Ouachita-Black River – beginning June 1.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Perry Lake has announced a new reservation policy for the 2020 recreation season. Beginning May 1, 2020 all sites in Rock Creek Park will be 100% reserveable. This will result in several changes for campers at Rock Creek Park at Perry Lake.
  • Tuttle Creek Lake levels limit lakeside recreation

    Tuttle Creek Lake has risen forty-nine feet above typical summer pool, to an elevation of 1124 feet above sea level. This is the third highest pool of record. Visitors should be aware most lakeside parks and facilities are closed or significantly impacted. These areas will likely remain closed for some time once flood waters recede to allow for significant cleanup and repair efforts.

Just like preparing a home, an apartment, or a recreational vehicle for the next season, the key to maintaining facilities at campgrounds is planning.
  • Lake Sakakawea Campgrounds 2017 Changes

    Reservations are now open for campsites at Lake Sakakawea. There are several changes for the 2017 recreation camping season, but prices remain the same. Reservations for sites within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campgrounds must be made through Reserve America, either online at Recreation.gov, or by calling the toll free reservation line at 1-877-444-6777. Same day reservations will be available by calling the toll free number. Cash and checks will no longer be accepted at East Totten Trail or Wolf Creek Campgrounds.

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today a list of temporary recreation closures due to high water from recent rain events in the district. It is best to call the lake office to check on campsite and boat ramp availability or go to Recreation.gov before going to the lake.
