Construction includes the installation of a new granular filter along a portion of the conduit as well as re-grading and paving the parking lot. The anticipated length of the closure is eight weeks.

Additional contracts are scheduled for work on the auxiliary spillway at the far-east end of the dam, and for restoration of areas associated with the first two contracts. Both projects are expected to be completed in early 2027.
Public safety is our number one priority before, during and after construction. Please be aware of surroundings at all times and watch for construction activities and movement of supplies and equipment. The timeline for construction is dependent on weather, safe management of flood water stored following rain events, and releases needed for water supply. The dam continues to perform authorized purposes of flood risk management, water supply, recreation, and environmental stewardship. Any visitors to the lake who will be near or in the water are encouraged to wear a life jacket and follow CDC protocols for COVID-19.
