Transatlantic Division’s Commander Brig. Gen. Kimberly Colloton hosted a Change of Responsibility Ceremony for the Division’s outgoing and incoming Command Sergeants Major.

The ceremony was conducted following strict social distancing guidelines with minimal audience and supporting staff members in the room. The majority of those sharing the ceremony were virtual via a FACEBOOK Live stream.

Outgoing Command Sergeant Major Randolph Delapena has been with the Division and part of the local community since February 2019. He’s been reassigned as the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and Fort Leonard Wood Command Sergeant Major stationed in Missouri. His wife and son attended today’s ceremony.

The Incoming Command Sergeant Major is Delfin J. Romani, was last command sergeant major for the 1st Stryker Brigade, Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division in Colorado. His family and friends were connected to the ceremony virtually.

Others attending today’s ceremony in person included the USACE Command Sergeant Major Patrickson Toussaint; TAD Deputy Commander Col. Stephen Bales and his wife Hope; Middle East District Commander Col. Philip Secrist, and a handful of Delapena’s former commanders, mentors and family friends.
