San Juan Metro Save the date photo for webinars

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District will host two public webinars on the San Juan Metro Area Coastal Storm Risk Management Study in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The study team will present the draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment report, which is currently available for public review.

The two public webinars will take place Tuesday, August 18, 2020,

10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (English presentation)

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. (Spanish presentation)

The purpose of this study is to determine Federal interest in a recommended plan to reduce damages to infrastructure as a result of coastal flooding as a result of storm surge, tide and waves from coastal storms and hurricanes along the Back Bay areas in the municipality of San Juan and adjacent municipalities.  

The Corps is requesting that any questions or comments be submitted, by Wednesday, August 26, 2020, to  SJMBackBay@usace.army.mil
