TAM awards contract to procure armored construction equipment in Egypt

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Middle East District awarded a contract for procurement of armored construction equipment in Egypt.

 

Contract number W912ER20C0016 was awarded on July 24, to Caterpillar Defense and Federal Projects.  The contract award amount is $44,192,445.

 

The Middle East District has been involved in Egypt for most of its nearly 70-year history. Although it doesn't currently have any major construction there, procurements like this are another important part of the District's overall mission of assisting our allied partner nations with the tools they need to provide for their national defense and an important way to maintain a strong relationship with our stakeholders.
