Jacksonville District stands up call center to support Operation Blue Roof in Louisiana
Hilda de la Paz, fleet manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galvaston District, talks to a Hurricane Laura disaster survivor seeking information on the temporary roofing program at a call center in Jacksonville Florida. Operation Blue Roof is a program managed by USACE on behalf of FEMA that installs fiber-reinforced sheeting to cover damaged roofs until arrangements can be made for permanent repairs.
