USACE, Afghans work to improve transmission lines in Helmand Province
AFGHANISTAN — Afghan and U.S Army Corps of Engineers engineers and electricians clean, repair and service the 110kV main disconnect switch assembly at the Sangin Substation in Helmand province, Afghanistan. The Sangin substation will be repaired under a USACE-awarded contract to improve transmission lines and substations in the Helmand province.
